Just finished this one.
I built it to put an S30V blade in when I get one.
This one has .035 Marine SS 316 liners, Jade G-10 with white liners, and a 420HC blade at this time.
It does not have the fit and finish I want, but will wait until I get theS30V blade to finish detailing it.

And the kicker?
This has gone from 7.2 oz to 3.5 oz!!
I may sell this one, but I don't know yet.

Got an Alaskan Guide 110 with a Black S30V blade.
Don't hate on me, but took the knife apart to put the blade on this frame.
Put this blade back on the AG, probably will sell it down the road.
Will post some more pictures, tomorrow.

OK, finished up this knife.
Here is the Alaskan Guide Buck 110.

Please don't hate on me, I know these are rare, I just paid for it (65.00 shipped, this doesn't happen very often!).
BUT, you just can't get a Black S30V Buck 110 blade any cheaper.
Buck WON'T sell you one. They will build a Buck 110 in a satin S30V, but you still have to open a new knife for the blade.
I know as I bought this one for a donor, and just can't bring myself to take it apart, WAAAAY too gorgeous, in my opinion.

So, it sits in the safe.

Here is The Jade Queen with the new Black AG blade. With the AG sheath.

When the weather changes, I will get a couple better outside pictures, but this is done.
Lock up solid, blade centered, just a fine custom.

I have been asked how many Bucks do I have.
Seriously, I am a Spyderco guy, and never set out to collect Bucks.
In fact, I had culled most of them last year. Had a couple of Autos (110's), 2-3 112's 2-3 110's, a 111, and some others.
Then purchased a custom from jarheadz28 here on the forum. It is the OD green with a Feather Damascus blade. Titanium liners. Fantastic, thin, lightweight Buck 110. And that knife is the one that got me to do these projects.
So, here they are.

Here are a couple of 110's in project state.
Need a lock bar for the top one, and just need to counter bore for the screw heads in the bottom. The bottom one is the AG donor.

STILL not collecing Bucks, but do have a few "keepers".

Looks great and the weight reduction brings the knife into pocket carry edc zone for me.

A lock back folder that can be field stripped is just to cool.
I'd like to see some knife companies come out with these.

Wow them are cool bucks. Have an old 110 that needs to be fancy'd up a bit. I seen some one ordered a 1095 blade. Any idea where I could get a blade like that?

If you want damascus, there is a guy who sells Buck blanks on the bay. Not cheap though. Here's an example:

I love it. How much work is it to pop a blade out of a buck and put another one in?

Those are great looking 110's. I really admire customs and professional mods. I'm always hesitant to get one, as I like to really use my knives and would hate to wreck something so nice.
