Been moving forward on doing custom handles and here is another one.
This casket style is on a cold steel Trailmaster and I think it turned out well.
The wood is from a live edge white walnut I believe and has a very cool random grain.
I did some shaping to the guard for a vintage look.
I did a full pass through tang channel which I capped off with a piece of burlap phenolic.
The handle has tapered sides, top and bottom. The top and bottom are rounded and the sides are a flat taper.
The pommel end is flat tapered and chisel cut to the end with a brass lanyard tube.
The feel in the hand is great.
