Dorough, Richard Arden "Dick"
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Crestwood Chapel for Richard "Dick" Dorough, 83, who died Feb. 5, 2008. The Rev. Bryan Vance will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Dorough was a retiree of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., and was an avid member of American Blade Knife Makers Guild in which he made custom knives. He was also a member of Southside United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Dorough; and son, Mark Dorough.
Another maker passes gone but not forgotten. Now all three Friends, Harvey McBurnette, WT Fuller and Dick Dorough are gone, but they live on in the memory of friends and the Knives they produced.
