Another custom order

I made this one from a customer´s specs and it turned out very light and handy.
It has a 3 3/4" long full flat ground 5160 blade and cord wrapped, resin soaked black ray skin handle. Note the little gold dog head on the handle. I have not done a Japanses style handle in a few months.

Nice! I love Japanese cord wrap... can't really see the menuki in that picture though.

As a matter of fact, that is not a menbuki, but a stylized gold dogs head that I use as my mark when I do Japanese style cord wrapped handles.
