Another D - Lisch - ous blade

I just wanted to share another great collaboration knife that Dave Lisch and I worked on together. Fans of Dave's awesome "feather" damascus should also know he is also turning bold patterns into crazy art as well. I just love getting billets from him for our kitchen knives.

This one is off to the customer, so hopefully I can talk her into taking some better pics for you guys.

Nice job Mike I call that pattern Horny flowers or horns and flowers. Mike Turner thanks for the help with that name. I must tell you that it makes Andrea crazy when you use that flannel blanket for a back drop she says too many patterns in the shot. Bamboo Monkey would be cool to Scott but I think I will save that for another pattern

LOL. Just messing with ya. That is one gorgeous knife. Big thumbs up to both of you guys. That pattern looks fantastic both compressed at the bolster and stretched way out for the blade. What were the dimensions of the billet when you first started out?
