This seams to be the type of knife I make a lot, so posting to see what you guys think of this one.
7" blade of 1095 and 15N20, OAL 11 3/4", 416 stainless guard, stainless and copper spacer, this is also a frame handle of 416 SS with stag.

I welcome your comments

Mike

Mike, awesome knife. Beautiful stag, beautiful damascus love the coined spacer. Looks just right and well proportioned. All in all a great looking knife !

Looks good Mike.

I don't care for the upset in the choil/ricasso region, but some people really like that.

The coining on the copper spacer is, and has always been, a nice touch.

Best Regards,

Wow, dang good looking knife.

I happen to quite like the bit between the handle material and the hand guard, as it reminds me of some old knives.
.

I dig the steel, nice pattern you got going on there

I like it.

I do not know how one distinguishes a Cowboy Bowie from a Gents Bowie, but maybe it depends on what shoes they wear? :D

Overall it looks quite nice. Is it just me, or does the bolster to handle material transition look a little uneven?

good one. It is obvious that you were not trying to align the spine with the handle, but making the offset. It looks deliberate, and well done. The steel is really cool, too. Nice work. I like it a lot.

Handle material and bolster do line up and are flush, the rounding over of the corners does give the apperance of misaligment. Thanks for looking

Mike
