Outstanding! What does he charge for one of those? I bet I can't afford it. Who took those Pics? They are the best ones I've seen. Beautiful knife. Where is this maker located? Again, that thing is artfully done. Thanks for the pics.

Looks like a knife to please collectors like Jimmy Jiminez, or Cabbitt. Very pretty, but it would be a crime to use it, no matter how astonishingly well it might cut.

The knife's gorgeous, but I'm happier with my villager. To each their own ...

Petr is my friend. He is professional knifemaker here in Czech Republic.
He also took the pics.
Last damascus khukuri he made is available for 1000 Euro.

I can post a link to his knives for sale:

Astro, I think the wood is Blodwood. I have no specs for this knife so far.

too bad it came out all bent & wrinkled. i'll take that poor thing off your hands and give the li'l darlin' a nice home with someone who appreciates it's disabilities. i'll be good to it and feed it and pet it and take it for walkies and teach it tricks......

:D I am sure Petr can make straight knives as well. :D And he made some plain (non damascus) khukuri already too.

I have another detail pic of the handle.

WOW!!!

That's beautiful!!! It must take some time for Petr to make the blade since he makes his own Damascus stock for the blades.

Some update about the wood. It is Coral Wood from Thailand. It gets even more red after some time.

Paul, he is mostly bladesmith so he enjoys forging more than anything else. Who would say that looking on the pics, though?

good`, you keep the straight or plain ones and send me all the bent or wrinkly ones then. i'll even spring for the (reasonable) postage! a partnership forged in heaven!

glad you can finance the partnership for both of us, i'll throw in the technical knowledge to balance the equation.

Ha Ha

I have only one wrinkly knife made by him and none plain or bent. I am sorry I have to disappint you.

This is the beauty I got as my 40 birthday present from my friends. They collected the funds and ordered it from Petr. I provided the design.

Now see, that's some good friends you have :)
Not only did they financially pitch in, but they also put some serious thought into what you would actually like/want!

That just makes the knife that much more special :)

Awesome:thumbup:
