Here's a new wa handled gyuto to check out. It's nice and thin and light, with a curved octagonal handle and scalloped
bolster fronts to facilitate cutting in a pinch grip. The edge has little rocking curve for most of its length, with belly
increasing towards the tip. Here's the specs:

Materials: 1040 layer random pattern blade, forged from CruForgeV and 15n20 steels, G10 bolster, SS and G10 spacers, and
stabilized claro walnut burl handle.

Weight 5.8 oz
Overall length 14"
Blade length 9"
Blade height at heel 2-1/16"
Spine thickness at ricasso .110"
Edge before sharpening .005"
Handle thickness 5/8"

Here are some pics and a video. Enjoy!

Really nice, I like the similar angles on the plunge, bolster, and spacers.

I like that one. And the Damascus pattern and etch remind me of the work of a certain MS who specializes in forged kitchen knives . . .
