Ditto!! I do not care for mirror polished blades at all, on a big chopper like that.

I love the knife.......I didn't request a mirror finish, but it isn't going to last, this is my primary user and the shine is getting scuffed quickly. I had even thought and dulling it out with some sandpaper, but it is happening naturally. Think about it as a signal device....your lost in the woods and if you can't cut the entire forest down around you...use it as a signal mirror
