i like hiking in the rain - these red-spotted newts comes out in droves.

i usually can't sleep in a hammock but decided to just use it to lounge around on since this one's been in the gear box for a few years now.

Nice post J, cool pics man! Thanks for reminding me I need to put my hammock to use...finally. The wife bought it for me last year at Blade, and I still haven't set it up yet....
 
Nice pics, quite peaceful looking. When I saw the insect pics, I flash thought about someone doing an edible insect post. Common edible insects indigenous to North America would be an interesting topic.
