Specifically for field dressing deer, which would you prefer a Fallkniven P3G, Fallkniven HK 9, Fallkniven TK 6; or, Bark River Woodland Special?

No experience with the Fallkniven but I do have a BRKT Woodland. Its a thick blade for its rather short length but more knife that one would need for deer.

The Woodland has just about ended my search for the perfect, pocketable fixed blade.

Plus, with just about any Bark River, you can buy it, use it for a year or two then sell it for close to what you paid for it if you want to move on to a newer knife. Mine is going on seven years old and I'm still not ready to part with it.

I've done enough deer with a folding knife that I would rather have a fixed blade, so rule the P3G out. The internals on folders get gunked up and it's a pain to get them completely clean. Since I only deer hunt a couple weeks a year at most, I don't have a specific high dollar blade for dressing out. I just use my Mora Clipper or whatever else I happen to have at hand at the time. It's usually the Mora though. The right size, super sharp, good grip when slippery, and very easy to clean

I like the Fallkniven TK6 the best out the choices you listed. I think the TK6 would be a good all around knife for anything you're going to do with a 3" blade. I'm a firm believer in any knife being a multi-purpose blade. If I was going to carry a knife specifically for field dressing/gutting, it'd probably be a Wyoming Knife that uses replaceable razor blades.

There's just something about the Bark River knives that turns me off.

During many years of deer hunting I never even thought of using a folder for the job. Serious cleaning is impossible with a folder unless you can take it apart like some newer knives .But taking apart is a pain too.
A Fallkniven TK-1 works very well with it's supersteel SGPS laminate blade !!

cramsey. how do you like the mora . they are a bargain.:) i havent skinned or butch game in quite a while.

Never used any of those, but im sure they would work fine.

Always used Old Timer Sharpfinger or Buck Vanguard. I have lots of modern knives with the new high tech steel, but I still use those as my hunting knives.

you might also wish to consider the Fallkniven WM1 in 3G.

however, from your list, i'd take the TK-6.

I am very much leaning to the Fallkniven TK9.

Thank you for the comments. I know that there have been other deer knife threads but I wanted to keep it to non-tactical and 4", preferrablely, 3" - 3 1/2" knives for deer.
