Another design !

Another design came into my head today so I tried to get it on paper.Messed up a little on the pommel but ya get the idea, what do you think?

I like the design - not a huge fan of the two ramps up top though. Do see them both being functional, if so for what?

I like the second design, Pit. I think it would look cool with jimping up the first ramp and the lanyard hole in an extended tang.

I'm not criticizing your design by any means, just adding my opinion which is worth little I love seeing your designs, you really have a knack for it.

I like the second design better. Looks like a shorter Hudson Bay with more of a pronounced point.

John, what would be an approximate price of something like this? I know Pit hasn't specified size, but your forge will take up to 13 inches right? I'm seeing it with an OAL of around that.

It all depends on the heigth of the stock, which looks like it would be about 2". If so, it would be around $180

I would love something like the first design with a long blade (13-15) inch blade as sort of a short sword/ falchion. I'd really get to scare people on the trails then. Wouldn't be horribly practical for anything though. 'cept Zombies.
