I don't think its really survival though it came up with a search for Wilderness survival documentaries. It seems to have a bit of everything but I only skipped around and watched little clips but I definitely plan on watching it in full soon. If anyone watches it, please leave a review for the rest of us and let us know just how much "survival" and/or bushcraft is actually in it or if it's just a nice outdoor documentary.

Here's the link:

That's one of the best 'outdoorsy' programs I've ever seen. watched it a few months back and numerous times since !!!

It definitely qualifies as survival in my book, Lars has at times only survived by eating his dogs food. He survives periods of sub zero temps for months at a time ( No back up crew like Mr Grylls ) and even an attack by a Polar Bear.......yeah he knows how to survive !!!;)

I hope you verstehen Swedish or Norwegian cuz that's the language of the narrative

Cool. Now that I know its good I'll be watching it in full asap. And you're right Pit, I don't need to understand him to understand what he's doing.

They can be found on Youtube with English subtitles, I just had a quick look and couldn't find them but maybe someone with more Youtube-Fu than me can do and post a link !

I was going to say the narrative distracts but I guess a guy could just turn the sound down.

Here it is with english subtitles. Its broken up in shorter parts though. That user has them all i think.

Lars Monsen is an amazing character and he makes amazing shows. Theres also one called Nordkalotten where he lives in the wilderness for a year.

Much appreciated Prop. Although it can still be 'understood' by just watching, it actually is distracting to hear so much narration I can't understand. I will be searching around for the other one you mentioned too. Thanks:thumbup:

I love Lars, he's been an inspiration for me. Everyone here should check him out, there's a Canada series with English subs and a Norway series also with subs on Youtube.
