What do you mean by Islamic? :) I have an old Persian name Manoucher is a very old Persian name 3000 years old before the Islamization of Iran in 14 century. Yes I am Persian, a naturalized German citizen, having lived and studied in the USA, Spain, France and Germany.

I am glad that you like the weapons.

Regards

Manoucher -

It may not be of that much interest to you since you have much first hand knowledge of the 'real thing' and you may already know of it anyway, but there's a good (old) book which covers Indian & Persian arms & armour which has recently been reprinted in Delhi:

A Description of Indian and Oriental Armour

beautiful blades by the way and I enjoyed your swordforum article too
