Check out this knife:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7232862330&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:US:1
I couldn't tell what it was, I thought maybe a LB2. Well to $30 buy-it-now I would have gone for it. but I sent the seller an email and asked what the tang said & where it was made. This is the response I got from the seller:
"Hi, The blade says 4150 japan on it.
Thanks for your question."
Now I am really scratching my head...
Is this the beginning of counterfeit Schrades? If so why didn't they copy the tang stamp?
Was the seller confused and looked at the wrong knife?
I have never heard of a Japan connection with Schrade.
Can anyone enlighten me in regards to this knife?
Thanks,
Dale
