Hello all,

My girl friend is finally converting:D

She finally wants her own EDC- so she's not always borrowing my delica.
She wants something small and really sheeple friendly, and a blade no bigger than 2.5 inches

steel isn't a huge deal as long as it's not a CCC. and one hand opening is pretty much a must because she wants that convnice.

Price under $100, but $50 is perfered.

She really likes the Spyderco cricket (but the price is kinda high for steel quality she wont need)

I suggested a minigrip and it's on the maby list.

any suggestions would be great.
thanks guys.

I would go with with Spyderco Dragonfly SS. It has a 2 1/8" blade, in the price range and sheeple friendly. ( they sell them at Shooters Choice, go take a look.)

Or

Consider a Kershaw mini cyclone, the scallion or chive(AO's arnt overly sheeple friendly). AND of course you cant go wrong with a SAK.

thanks alot guys, the Kersha was strongly considered but we're iffy about the speed safe opening system in a office type work place (i dont know much about it but isn't it really fast like alomst an AO?), but it looks like she's gonna get the dragonfly, thanks Matt.

The SS IS an AO, but if she really likes the looks of a AO, just take out the torsion bar. I do it when I wanna take my baby boa somewhere sheeplish with LEOs, makes it extremely public friendly. Or go with any small spyderco, they are amazing knives.

SS

Another small knife that doesn't cost alot is the Subcom, I have heard alot of good things about this knife. You might want to take a look at the Benchmite.
