I just don't get these guys that do this. They have the ability copy a great knife but doing so just makes them untrustworthy, so who's going to believe the claims of what steel they use? Silly bastards could probably sell way more knives, at a much higher price point if they'd do things the right way.

Unfortunately, I have known people, and probably so have you, who will disdain honest effort and work much harder to do things the underhanded way.

China, they do copies. Some companies over there, that is all they do. Also, China does not respect US patents and trade marks so its rampant with no chance of punishing them.

A company here can try to block the import, but there's so much merchandise coming over its next to impossible. Sad to say.

Just started looking for Chris Reeve Sebenza's on eBay and seems like a quarter of them are fake. Just forwarded one posting to the real CRK so hope that helps...;-)

Unfortunately there is not much that can be done with stuff made overseas. Like stated above the best we can do is try to block sales here in the states and try to educate people as best we can.
