My son and I went to a gun/military show today. Passing through the mounds of junk knives, I found this gem. Other than a little rust, it is in great shape. Good snap, decently sharp. Guy wanted $7.00 for it, got him down to $5.00. I'll post some pictures later after I clean it up. Does anyone know much about it, as well? (value, age, etc). Thank you, gentlemen.

It won't have much value because the scales are cracked, and its not in "collector" condition. However, Camillus made a great knife, and for 5 bucks you got a knife that still has many years left in it

Thanks man. I just cleaned/sharpened it, so I think this'll be a user.

Absolutely

A well built knife for $5.00 , would this be a 70's knife?

Yep... Can't go wrong at that price. 70's possibly 60's would have been my guess. But thats all it would be is a guess.

Cleaned her up a bit. It will make a great user, for sure.

Looks good. Enjoy... Schrade had similar scales on some of their knives too, but I don't remember seeing many Camillus knives with them
