Another First Knife thread - Back pocket EDC

I want to make knives like this for my grandsons. I would like them to be carried and used - so, what do you think I need to do better?

6 1/4 x 1 x 1/8 1095 walnut scales - the sheath/wallet has just enough room for a lighter, ferro rod, or a little bit of plastic and cash.
