Got an email from Blade HQ saying the CQC-8 was in stock 2 days ago. Thought about it all of 15 minutes and pulled the trigger. Hadn't planned on another knife for awhile but these things are hard to find. Anyway, it's my first Emerson and I have high expectations. Should be here next week and I'm stoked. I see they are out of stock already. Love the anticipation of a new knife on it's way!

I love my CQC-8. For being such a large knife, it sets very well in the pocket! Enjoy it and use the hell out of it.
Got it today! This is the first Emerson I've seen other than pictures. I am impressed! Asymmetrical grind on the edge and shaving sharp, locks up tight. Can't find a fault with it anywhere. It was pricey but well worth it. Feels great in the hand and you're right Highpower1, sits very well in the pocket. Maybe a CQC-13 next?
