Sent off my competition finish Jackhammer 2008 SE in to Garth for some mods, and couldn't be happier with the result!! The handles were converted to black paper, black crinkle finish to the blade, and sterile, lovingly wrapped in Okuden Kydex.

I love it, it's perfect!! Thanks to Garth and Amy!!!
 
i recently sent in my jackhammer due to rust under the grips, i left it wide open, though they could just remove rust and put handles back on, but that knife looks good.
 
Oh man, that's tempting. Although I like my Jackhammer a lot as it is. I think I got lucky with mine, I've had zero rust issues. I'm loving that black paper. :thumbup:

Don't normally like the Jackhammer all that much but this one is quite beautiful. Gratz on a nice mod, and kudo's to Garth! :thumbup: :thumbup:
 
The work ran $80, and they had it in the shop maybe three weeks? Of course, Blade West was in the middle of that so I am amazed I got it back as fast as I did. Busse is an awesome company to deal with, but you guys all know that already. :)

That gleaming convex edge against the black is sick. :)
