Engraving that close to the crown of the muzzle -- not such a good idea?

I doubt the engraving will affect the accuracy or performance.........But the prosecutors office will have a field day with it if you ever had to shoot someone.

oh i dont know, if ya are in the right and its a good shoot, i doubt it, not in TX anyway.

its kinda silly though imho.

Agree with znode - the lower part does rise up enough to effect the accuracy... But, I don't think it would matter as the Glock is meant for getting things done quickly and efficiently - I don't think it would matter much for that kind of work...

But it does make for a nice picture!!!!! :D Maybe for my screen saver...

Before the inevitable ballistics argument starts...it's a Photoshop job, guys.

Well then Lone Wolf must be playing a pretty big joke on people because they offer that as a service. I got a catalog in the mail from them a month or two ago that featured a whole spread on their engraving options including front of the barrel like that. In fact, I think the original pic in this thread probably came from them as it looks just like some of the examples in the catalog. One of the barrels was engraved with "Tag your [sic] it." I laughed at the editorial mastermind who not only permanently engraved that grammatical wonder on a Glock, but proudly displayed it in the printed catalog.

Hahahah, found it. It makes me laugh every time. Check out page 8 of their PDF catalog. It also has the pic from the first post.

Maybe they are just photoshops for product examples: I don't know. Either way, it is definitely a service they offer. Grammatical errors thrown in for free!

Thanks for that link... Tried the original link but couldn't seem to find the pic you linked to... "Make My Day"!!!! :D That was pretty good, too!

Those mods are pretty cool, but I would be reluctant to get them on a concealed carry or home defense gun, since there is the possibility - albeit very unlikely - that the gun might be waved in front a jury someday.

I normally do not buy into the "what would a jury think" line of thought, but I do here. JMO.
