Another good Izula carry option

Hello all,

I was looking for a certain type of carry option for my Izula, something not on-belt, and not on-neck. I'm not a big fan of neck carry, I find it hard to put the knife back in the sheath without flashing everyone around with my 6 pack. :o
(I don't have a 6 pack at all, not even a 2 pack)

Anyway, since neck carry was a no go for me, I was carrying my Izula on my belt, either with the molle locks, or some paracord. This worked pretty well, but I was still not completely satisfied.... It seemed like the knife was always catching on something, and this was annoying.

The last option I was trying was straight up pocket carry. I install high end audio/video equipment, as well as home control systems, so my pockets are always full of parts/pieces, as well as my EDC. The only pocket that was never getting used was my back left pants pocket. So, that's where the knife went. This was working pretty well, but, the knife kept laying down horizontal on me. Also when I wanted to use the knife, I would have to take it out of said pocket, and remove it using both hands. I would then have to put the sheath back in my pocket, use the knife, take the sheath back out of my pocket, return knife to sheath, and then return knife and sheath back into pocket. :( It made quick usage of the knife kind of a pain.

Well I have found what I think to be the solution for me, and so far I have been very happy with it. I bought a left rear pocket sheath from cricketdave here on the forums. He did a great job and it is exactly what I wanted! This carry system works very well for me. The price was very reasonable, and the whole process took about a week from order to delivery.

Thanks a lot cricket :D

As you can see, it is very well made.

This is just another of the many carry options for the wonderful knife we call Izula!!

Thanks for looking :D

 That is an excellent carry option. I've seen pics of others he's made here on the forums, and I think the design is flawless. Simply functional. Congrats!!!

Great looking leather work CD! That's the first one that I've seen on here of yours, how long have you been at it?! Congrats on your new leather sheath!

Damn that looks nice!

Looks real snug and safe there as well.

Wonder what some black leather would look like.

That's cool! The rough leather on the back must help keep it in the pocket a bit too.

i'm glad you like it and that it works for you.

i havn't made alot of sheaths on here, i've been doing leather work for 10yrs mostly for cowboy action shooters. lots of holsters and belts and chaps, some saddle and harness work for my horses.

i made a black one for mrs shotgunner for her fiddleback knife this morning.

the rough leather back is suede to help keep it in your pocket.

take it easy
