My lady and I had a baby shower today in anticipation of our little boy (due in April!) What better way to cut the cake? :D

It was a good day! :p

nice!
and congrats to you and your lady, BTW.
so when are you going to post a review of the Shango - or did i just miss it?

Better buy all the knives before the little one comes out....diapers ain't cheap these days. Enjoy -they grow up really fast.

I've had it since it first came out, but I have yet to do a full review of it. I have a bunch of pics for a review of the Imacasa 14.5" Colin, 20" Colima, and Condor Bush Knife I have yet to upload. :o I'll get to it soon--promise! :p

Congrats to both of you. That boy's gonna have great taste in knives! First Birthday - Lite Machete vs Sheetcake!!:)

I wish you and your girl all the best. My boy was the best thing to happen to me since sex. Wait I mean... But no really you will have a blast. One tip though change as many poopie diapers as soon as you can its the ones that come later that suck.

TOTALLY DOING THAT! Or something similar. :D I already have a first knife picked out for him--a Mora similar to the one I had when I was little. :p

ETA: The diapers shouldn't cut too badly into my toy budget--we're using cloth ones. You'd be surprised by how far those things have come technologically speaking.

take my advice - use the newborn swaddlers for the first month.
your washing machine won't be able to keep up and you'll be too tired to hand wash.
:D

I have a 6 week old niece in my basement, so I've been watching the new parents adjust. (SiL & her hubby)

I had to stare at the first pic awhile to make sure you hadn't just cut off your left-hand fingers at the second knuckle lolol

I just remembered--I wiped the frosting off the blade but I haven't rinsed it yet. :o:p

Congrats on the young 'un. And there is not a better blade to be cake cutting with :p
