Another Great Knife Show Find

Being the Early Bird at the knife show I was able to find a few knives that were special. I am not a collector of traditional fixed blade knives by any means, that being said I saw a 121 at the show, I had to have. The 121 is probably the one traditional Buck fixed blade I really like. This 121 is special though. I'll let it speak for it self

Thats the one Buck brought back as a LE for a short time . Guys are looking for that . Nice photos . DM
 
I think that is one of the Klinkhammer overrun knives. I believe it to be 1 of 20 that Joe was selling. Someone probably will chime in that knowns more about it than I do.

I heard at one point that only ten were made. Whatever it is.....it's a small number.

I suspect yours was made from a 105 blade cut to 5.5 inches like the new Buffalo Guide 121. Much thicker blade than the old ones.

You should pop a picture of it in on the 121 thread that's currently active.

Do you know what the Org.121 blade thickness was and I will compare the two, this one is 25.4mm or 1/8 inch.
 
I don't recall what the original thickness was but it was under 1/8" . This model grew thicker over the years . A nice model . DM
