Another Gun Kote Thread

Hi guys. Hey I have a question, and rather than resurrect and old thread, I just want to try a different approach and simply ask a couple questions.

1. For you guys that use Gun Kote, do you sandblast your blades like they say? The Gun Kote site says to use 120-mesh silicon carbide at 40 psi and NEVER use glass beads. Have any of you guys used glass beads and had good results? I am only asking because I would hate changing my beads out of the cabinet just to shoot a couple blades.

2. Where do you guys buy your Gun Kote?

1. The coarser the better in my opinion....but glass bead should do well....

I used Glass on mine
just keep your finger prints of the steel before coating.
I do think it can stand more grit though..

I can't remember where I got mine..and it wasn't that long ago either
