I did another hand satin finish on a team Gemini BIG finish. I wasn't as much of a fan of the BIG finish so I got rid of it and applied my own.

Satin is the best finish for these knives, and it's so easy to maintain too, just some sandpaper.

I wrote out the process in the post from when I satin finished the crusader

was done by hand. So I blasted it to get a uniform finish. I then started with 320 then 400,600,1000,1500. I then used diamond compounds through various grits in a swirl motion like waxin a car to get rid of all the sanding marks. It was very shiny by this time. Then I used the sanding balls for a drill that is basically a scotch bright ball and I use that to apply the even and Uniform lines that go from spine to edge. Then I put a fresh convex edge on it.

Really nice! Looks even more satin-y than the Crusader turned out, slightly more matte/finely brushed finish.

I would be open to offers on the crusader the bottom spike has been rounded
