I've been struggling to find an ESEE-5.

All I wanted is an ESEE-5 with black coating and plain edge but nobody seems to have it in stock, nobody...

Turns out one of the official retailers listed on their site is just 15 mins away from me.:o

And I suppose the title says it all.

I'm EXTREMELY happy with it.

The choice of steel is right
The blade shape is right
The ergo is right
When I held it snug something in my head just went "BOOOOOM!"

It is however slightly havier than I expected but it's hardly an issue.

Sorry but when my camera battery is done charging the sunlight is nowhere to be found, so might as well take a night shot.
 
I have had the RC-5 since it first came out and am a big fan. The reason I like it is that unlike the other ESEE knives it has NO CHOIL. I love the blade and blade shape. I have an RC-3 and RC-4, but always have liked the 5 the best.
