So let me preface this by saying I am left handed and I cary my knives left side tip up and I prefer smaller knives, so most of my knives are smaller (Spyderco Chaparral, dragonfly, etc. and Benchmade mini grip). However I recently got a spyderco stretch and wow. It is such a great knife and I find I dont mind the size. That being said I am undecided on what I want next...

Im currently thinking about getting a spyderco manix 2 lightweight, a native 5 lightweight ( I know its not out yet but soon hopefully), or a ZT 0566. So what would you all recommend out of these three and why?

If you can find the Manix 2lw in s110v then go for that, if not take a look at the benchmade 940/943 (s30v) or 940-1 for a s90v/cf version.
Reasons being, I like slicey
(I know the BMs aren't on the list, but I think they ought to be.)

I have several customers who bought the ZT 566 for left hand carry and they are very happy!

I recently picked up a spyderco manix 2 lightweight and have been very happy with it. So light I forget it's there, and it fits my hand extremely well.

Since you like a smaller knife, have you considered the Ritter RSK MKI in M390?
(Oops - just noticed that you have a mini-grip... still worth considering, though)

GlockandBalls I had a PM 2 and i just couldnt get into it. It was just a hair larger than I would want to carry and after almost a year I sold it. The only problem with the 0566 is that I have heard you need longer screws for carrying on the left side. Is that true? Does anyone have any experience with that? Also I would like to add the sage 2 to the list. I have a sage 1 and I love it but I have been looking at the sage 2 for a while now and there is something about it...I just want one haha.
Thanks everyone for the replies. Keep them coming!

Yea I am a lefty and carry tip up on the left side. I love the PM2 but if its too large for you then there are several spydies you can't go wrong with. If you do get the Sage, I would recommend the Sage 3 with the "axis" style lock because it is truly ambidextrous. If you look at the framelock style Sage 2 you will see that the thumb deployment is slightly more geared towards right-hand deployment (although you can do it lefty). Also I have noticed that when deploying a blade from the framelock side, I am not as good with it as when I use my right hand and deploy from the non framelock side (its a downfall of being a lefty). This is why I will only buy a framelock with a flipper design. That way there is no issue. The ZT is nice and has the flipper but you will need longer clip screws. Caly 3 is a bit smaller than the PM2 so that is an idea as well. I prefer spydercos with a forward finger choil that I can really choke up on. The Sage 3, dragonfly, caly, and some others have it. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately for lefties, frame locks justs aren't designed for left hand use. Can it be done? Sure. That being said, I love the smooth, truly ambidextrous action of the axis lock/ball bearing lock. This would be the route I would choose. Also love Spydie back locks...native 5 is one of my favorites.

Thank you GlockandBalls for the response and blades&wrenches I agree the spyderco back locks are great! Before owning a spyderco back lock I really didn't like them very much but after owning a delica, chaparral, and dragonfly I have come to appreciate the back lock. Especially because it is lefty friendly!
