The Military has been a stand-by for many people for a long time, and I'd recommend it over any knife... except a Benchmade. Get the Apparition... Ten times cooler than the auto Stryker, and legal in more places (don't know if that matters to you) since you can remove the optimizer if you like (and since it's an assisted opener, not a full auto). Prettier than the Military, more appropriate to carry if you're going to wear slacks. The Millie is a jeans knife.
However, I have to say also that you may want to get the Military instead if you need more grip. The handles of the Apparition won't offer the same stick-to-me-like-glue grip that the Military offers.
Long & short is this: Both knives are of equal quality. Both have the same lock. Both have very useful blade shapes. It basically boils down to style/appearance, and which you prefer.
I'd honestly say get both.
Peace.
