there are so many versions I thought I'd ask you guys instead of confusing myself...

what I carry changes from time to time like most of us.. sometimes I carry a mt others I don't, pending where I'm at/doing..

woods:
what version/model of sak should I be looking for, my only request is it has a saw on it, awl, other stuff are perks as I always carry a fixed knife in the woods..

urban:
maybe same version/model as you'll recommend above, but maybe this sak would replace my typical edc, which at this point needs to have a decent usable blade.. oh still needs the saw:)

pics are always welcomed..

Well, it sounds like you could use a Alox Farmer. I think many folks will chime in saying the same thing. Has the saw amd the awl. Slim, lightweight, excellent quality. Myself I carry a Huntsman, simply because the Farmer does not have scissors and Victorinox steadfastly refuses to make them with that tool.

For woods, it depends on how often you would be using the saw. The choices range from 84mm SAKs (Vic. Lumberjack) to 120mm (Wenger NewRangers). Alox Farmer (93mm) is an excellent overall choice. One-Hand Trekker (or New Soldier, which is based on it) is also popular. If you have large hands and can hadnle the bulk, NewRanger 55 has the equivalent tool set to the OHT.
If you need the saw for urban carry, the Farmer is probabaly your best bet. Vic. Hiker would also work.

For the woods, I suggest the Farmer, the Camper, the Huntsman, or the Rucksak (locking main blade). Lots of options :)
