Given enough time, will horn cure on its own?
I've used horn handles before and none of them has developed a crack before. I have one with a crack that was a blem but I bought it like that.
So, if I goop the handles and stuff them in a closet for say a year, will they cure or stabilize without any further treatment?
Would it be beneficial to boil the handles to reflow the laha and therefore relieve any pressure inside the handle?
