Here's half of my next order done. A guy ordered two hunters for his boys. This one has some outstanding curly maple that was part of a generous gift from a friend of mine. These will see use as hunters, possibly even a few african safaris.

The damascus spacer is a remnant from some of Ed Caffrey's mosaic. I thought it resembled the stripes on zebra hides so it was a fitting piece.

Specs:

Forged from 1084 steel
8 3/4" overall, 4 1/8" blade (3 5/8" sharp), .180" thick at the ricasso
German silver guard
Mosaic damascus steel spacer with blued steel collars
Stabilized curly maple sculpted handle
Handle is 1/2" thick just behind the guard

John, The Sandwiched Damascus Spacer is perfect! I really like the straight guard, great work as always.

Nice, very clean all the way around. Just out of curiosity where do you get your German silver? TOdd

Hi Todd. It's been a long time since I bought any but I think it was from Sheffield supply.
