Here's a few pics of another Ibara model integral that I just shipped out- these show the fit of the scales a bit better. I like how this knife looks in brown linen with mosaics. Steel is 52100. FWIF, Ibara means "thorn" in Japanese- the spare lines of the knife and the overall flowing curve suggesting a restrained Japanese interpretation of a thorn shape, to me anyway. Also, these often get hamons. Enough yakking, enjoy the pics.

Clean, clean, clean. Very nice work. Your integral chef's knife from a while back always sticks in my mind. I would love to see a detailed WIP of someone forging and grinding an integral.

I possess recently a integral. Now I includes the particular interet of this genre of knife.

I like very much the line very pure of this model.

I would have by seen rather two small rivets. I find pins mosaique too "kitch". just MY opinion.. ;)
