I made this knife for a very special client. His initials are inlayed with nickel into the oval guard.

Steel: 1084 / 15N20 damascus inlayed with L-6 "dolphins".
Blade length: 6 5/8
Overall length: 11 1/8
Guard: wrought iron
Spacers: wrought iron and turquoise recon stone.

Thanks for looking

Not real sure what to say. That is outstanding. Kind of takes the damascus to an entirely different level. Very very nice.

Mike..verrry nice ....question, do you use powdered steels to get your designs? I couldn't imagine forging anything like this for myself yet...Franco

Thanks for your comments.
Franco32 - Sometimes I use powder steel to make picture elements. These, however were carved from L-6 flat bar.
