This is an integral with black waterbuffalo inserts. The inserts are finely streaked with white.

The toughest part of milling all of that material out is the realization that about 75% of the metal was laying on the floor in the form of chips, expensive chips.

Working with the soft insert material and Rc 57 handle material is also an experience because of the difference in hardness. Those inserts were in and out so many times that I lost count.

I like the integral as a design excercise because of the amount of preplanning and problem solving that they require.
