Doubtful if this one ever gets used, but it has the blade for it. 8.5" blade of marquenched L6 with just a hint of recurve. Stag is a carver I had been saving for years. Nickel silver fittings with thin red spacers. Kevin Cashen did real good on this one.

The more I see of Kevin's work, the more I like it!

His swords are amazing!

That's one beautiful piece, thanks for sharing :)

Very nice Bowie. Wonderful lines. I really like the guard. Don't think I've ever seen one that even resembles it. Too cool.

BBB(Bearded Bastid Brian), occasionally Kevin makes knives for other people. :) All I know is, I love the guy's work and try to buy a knife from him whenever I have a few nickels to rub together. I dont yet have one of his swords, but hope to someday. I do, however, have a big honkin camp knife on order that might come close to a sword. Picture a gorgeous amber colored fat stag crown with traditional Scagel style nickel silver guard and spacers on either side of a nice slice of gorgeous ironwood for the handle. Blade is to be 12" of forged carbon steel, probably L6, in the Scagel style with plenty of sweeping belly(like me). Damn, I'm getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

Knice knife. Looks like it should have a good balance to it.
Does Kevin have a web site?

Frankly, I am surprised that Phil hasnt commented on this knife yet. I was sure he would be drooling over that awesome stag carver.

Thanks for the link. Awesome blades! It will go into my favorites folder for later drooling.
