At this rate, he may end up on the payroll. :D I'm working on another design sent to me by Kev. This one is a parang. I will post a pic of the blade later tonite. The rest of the story will be left to Kev.

Man, you guys are killing me. I already wanna get the mother tusker and golok next order, and we're still working on my current order.

Something was lost in the communication between Scott and me. This one is more bolo than parang although I have a parang design in mind. I like straight-forward shapes and this is a basic user blade recycling aspects of blades past. Like the Polaris, this doesn't reinvent the wheel, it keeps it moving.

If this blank is anything like the cardboard cut out, it feels really nice in the hand. By PEACE at the WLC, I'll let you guys know how it works out. Thanks for the great work again Scott!

My pleasure Kev. I had a pic taken this morning and accidently deleted it. I will put up a pic when it finished tomorrow. You're right, it is more of a bolo. We have been discussing so many blade styles of late and I think parang was one of them.

The Parang can still be one of them! Haha. Who knows what will be drawn up next. Really lookin forward to seeing this one finished.

Here are a couple of pics. One in hand.

That looks great Scott! Very simple and straight-forward. Just enough of a taper to make it a bolo and put some weight forward on the blade. With your edge and 3/16" A2 steel, it should serve my purposes as a "quasi-light-machete."

USPS was really fast on this one Scott. I can't believe the weight forward on this chopper. A lot of potential packed into a smaller cutting package. Pictures don't do it justice! This big boy bolo will make a great companion on the courses this summer. Thanks brotha!

That sure got there quick. Make sure you post up pics when it's handled. Looking forward to how you sheath it also.
