So I was talking to my grandfather friday or saturday about knives and he said when he was a kid alot of kids had barlow knives. So I found a knife that I'm going to order off the internet they are barlow styled knives 1 for me and 1 for him. Anyways I went to a flea market sunday and found a barlow knife I figured I'd pick up to have untill I got the other one. Here are some pictures of it, I really like it and its really sharp.
I also got a little knife for free (basically) he wanted 5 for the barlow knife which I was deffinatly getting (I only had 5 to spend) and I was hoping to find a little pocket knife that I could get both for 5, well I picked up this little peice of junk and fell in love, its damaged like crazy but I fixed it up a little bit.
Its little and the blade if damaged majorly, there was a knick in the blade but I managed to get it mostly out by using a coarse sharpening stone. So there are a few chunks out of the blade but I got most of the rust off of it and I love this knife and I believe it will be a great little user knife, its sharp and fits in my little pocket. Now I'v said "little" knife a few times and by the pictures I've already posted you can't tell the real size of it, although I don't know the exact measurment I took a picture of it in my hand.
So you can see its a pretty little knife, but its deffinatly big enough to do dang near anything I really need to use a knife for.
I got both of these knives for 5 bucks, so I think I walked away with a great deal! The barlow knife came with a sheath but the snap broke so I am going to super glue it back together. So please tell me what you think of these knives.
