wow, i REALLY like the sheepsfoot (or would that be considered a hawksbill?)
i not sure about how high the blade sits in the closed position

how does it feel in the pocket? seems like it would be very wide and noticeable (but i dont have anything like it to compare)

and yeah that powderhorn is cooool too,
i just seem fascinated by knives with a sheepsfoot main blade for some reason lately :p

well then, when you carry it
let us know, i think thats the single blade weaver jack, and i been eyeballing that one for a few days
(lol i said that like i could afford one right now, but you know what i mean :D)

Great knives, a couple of my favorite patterns too.

The Powderhorn takes the cake for me though. Stag definitely a plus, long pulls also a huge plus, but that pattern/knife in general just does it for me. It's a really tough, hard working knife if you get around to using one.
Also, Ryan Daniels liked one enough to carry it.

I love that powderhorn jack I've been aiming to get one for quite awhile. They look to me like a pretty useful pattern and I'm also pretty fond of the way GEC interperets the blade profile of the toothpick blade IMO Case and Queen leave it much to thin and overall much too drastic.

Nice end result there.

Recently got a single blade Weaver Jack myself, in Antique Black Bone. I'm really pleased with this one. it carries very neatly, not too much weight at all. As a keen gardener I'll find a lot of uses for that blade, but it's more versatile than you may think. The blade is odd ,a kind of Lambsfoot/sheep foot/Hawkbill Lambsbill??? :D Fine slicer though for opening sacks and for halving large oranges or apples very effectively. Great opening action too and impressive finish.

I love that weaver jack. I got one just like it for my mom, since she can't use nail nicks. She loves it and takes it everywhere.

I'm carrying the weaver today and it just disappears in my pocket. The blade profile doesn't seem to make a difference in how it carries. I will hopefully have a package or some mail tonight to open so I can try it at cutting. I will be seeing Bob again in April at another show hopefully. Wonder what I'll buy then. :D
