Another LB-4

I cant understand why Schradites dont just go for the Schrade C641 which is the identical 3rd generation but with Rosewood scales. e.g. Ebay# 260161515963 sold complete with same sheath for $37.26 because its a C641 and not stated LB4 I feel collectors miss out on some real bargains. I always feel the Rosewood scales makes that knife have more of a place in the LB line up because LB1,LB3 C641,LB5,LB7 are all very similar albeit different sizes. The LB4 with Staglon is more aligned with the LB2 and LB8 IMHO. I have a beautiful C641 in' my corner photos' with inscribed bolsters and blade. Hoo Roo
 
I visited with the seller. He had no idea of what he was selling, but was pleased with the price it brought. That was evident, as the listing did not mention the pattern number. I didn't see it until two hours before close myself. He said he bought the knife "awhile back" at a flea market. It was the first LB-4 I've seen listed on Ebay NIB. Never seen a "Missing UH" with the 3rd Generation etch, but they all have had the Uncle Henry shield.
 
Don't feel bad thawk. I lost out on that LB4-UH to him also, But in the last 5 seconds. No the guy had absolutely no idea at all what he had !!!!
 
I'm new here. I have absolutely no idea how to navigate this site!!! When I figure it out, I have a nice "Hammer Brand" push button, candy stripe I want to show you guys some pictures of.

Join up and get an account.

It is easy to copy the IMG links from your photobucket album to your post on BladeForum.

If you know how to "cut" and "paste", and how to right-click on a JPG file and send it to an email address, it is all downhill after that. Your account will have an email address you can send pictures into your album.

Once you get them in your album, you can COPY the IMG CODE, go to your post, and PASTE it. You can PASTE by holding down on the RIGHT MOUSE button and choosing the PASTE COMMAND. It woll PASTE the code right where your cursor is blinking.

If that is all too cumbersome, and you would like your pictures put in this thread, if you can email them to me I'll do it.

Don't give up on Photobucket. It's a piece of cake once you get it. Many members struggled with posting pics when we first joined the forum. I sure did.

It's much easier to spend 25.00 and become a gold member.You can post pictures from your email and help the site at the same time.They need more paying members.It helps to keep this forum going.Arnold
