I was talking to Eric from ON/Scene the other day and he was showing me his 2000 black Commander, and he was comparing it to my 1999 Commander and his has thinner scales than mine. I thought that the 99 and 00 had the same size scales and liners, and the 98's were thicker. Now my question is Were there 3 sizes of scales and liners or only 2? If there was only 2 sizes it means that I have the thicker scaled 99 but my 99 has grooved thumb ramps on the liners so I thought it was the thin one. Anyway if someone could explain to me which one I have that would be great.

EKI used the thicker .062 liners through mid 1999, then moved to .050 liners.

I knew you would come through for me John, thanks. I never realized it was the thicker one because I had nothing to compare it to, I'm glad I got the knife when I did. I almost bought a 98 a which wouldn't have been a bad thing but it would have been the same as what I have.
