Roger Linger sure is making some beautiful Bushcraft Knives these days, I really like this one with S30V steel and Box Ender Scales. I own a fews of this blades and I can say they sure can cut.

Keep up the Great Work Roger.

Very nice. I am a fan of S30V, but do use carbon steel for my bushcraft type knives. I have been rotating between a Bark River Woodland Special, Frost Mora, and Becker Necker. But I also been adding my Simonich Crowfoot with S30V to the rotation.

I have seen from your previous posts you have similiar type use as I do, bushcraft, firecraft, etc. What made you chose S30V? What do you think are the advantages/disadvantages?

Just curious as I bounce around my rotation as to which is "the knife" if you know what I mean.

The main reason I choose to go with S30V is for its toughness and corrosion ressistance. My knives some times see saltwater living here in South West Florida.
