I got this one a few days ago. It didn't come with tha box or paper work, just the belt sheath so I think I'll be carrying it quite a bit. I'll see how the BG-42 blade works out for me.

If it was used Jim, I sure can't tell. the little belt sheath is also like new and shows no sign of use.:thumbup:

I wasnt even aware of the Master series until you started posting them. I see this is a 98 date stamp-how many years did they make them?
 
I think only one year... Nice one Dave... You almost have the whole set or do you... Here's my set... Love them...

Nice set of Master series there guys, I still kick my self for having passed on those when they where offered in the stores. ? HL
 
SWEET Dave. Those Master series are NICE and BG-42 is one of my most favorite steels. Some say hard to sharpen, but naturally it depends on what you are USING to sharpen.

It just occured to me how close the Hertiage Series is to the Master Series . Both have up grade stainless steel blades, green handle material, near the same models and were presented in the Fall . One retail the other more private . DM
