Can you cap off and reuse the glue cartridges or once opened you have to quickly use it? I saw on Amazon that there is a gun applicator and replaceble tips. I assume I need a new tip each time I use it.

It is made for high volume industrial use.

The tips are made with an internal spiral helix that mixes the two parts & comes out ready to use.

Skip the gun and tips to try it out.

There are no plungers on the tubes like hardware store epoxy.
You can make up something with a steel plate and 2 bolts/nuts to push out the epoxy equal depths (pistons are different diameters)

Press it out onto a mixing palate(Nicky uses the divot in the bottom of a soda pop can)
and mix it up like any other epoxy, then recap it.

Recaping is dicy -

The gun, tips and using a whole tube at once is the best overall.

I have to disagree with The Count. I've been using an recapping this stuff for several years now
with no problems. I do use the gun and tips.

By dicey I mean that if you don't keep it all perfectly clean and mix up a smidge from one side to the other , you will cure up and seal the cap on.

The gun & caps are nice, but a big $ outlay if you just want to try it and not sure you like it.

True, but I've never had a problem with curing the cap on.

The gun is $20-30 and lasts forever. The tips are something like a dollar each. Yes there's cost,
but there's also much less room for mixing errors that result in weak epoxy. Worth it to me, your
money may vary.

That's worth it if you know you want to stick with it vs trying it out once.

They want $5o-75 ish for the gun here.... everything is more....
