Today I got the CS bowie machete, and all I can really say is that I'm a bit blown away. The kukri machete came with a fairly decent edge, but the bowie machete's edge was something else! It looked like someone had already been some time and effort into sharpening it before I got it. It was almost ready for knife work right out of the package. About the only thing I really did was sharpen the swedge on the clip point.
