Another Mini?

So we have the Para 3 coming out, what about a Mini Manix 2? Anyone else have their lady say they like their knife but it's just too big? This is something I hear all too often. So to my Tenacious my girl has a Persistence. When the Para 3 comes out she will have that one too. But she really likes my Manix and there is no solution. Any plans for the future Sal?

I've never wished for a smaller version of any knife Spyderco makes. I've wished many times for larger ones though.

The only one I've ever wanted smaller was the K2 but I still like it just the way it is. Really only do she has more of a selection of the ones she likes do I wish any of them were smaller. The Manix specifically because her hands are too small to get a firm grip to use the lock one handed.

Just would be easier for my everyday tasks, my K2 actually gets the most use as a food prep knife.

Mini manix would be interesting, would definitely cut down on the weight for the G10 version. I'm not sure it would be a big success though, if I wanted a similar feel to a manix 2, but in a smaller package, I'd probably just buy a Native 5.
 
I love the original mini manix has a really nice look to it ,however they were a little chuncky-heft in the pocket -but a LW version would solve that,I would definitely be in.

I get that, but to me the Native misses what I want in comparison to the Manix. The lack of a thumb ramp has made me get rid of every Manix I have had. And I love the BB lock.

I think a mini manix would be cool, and it would sell well. I would like to see a mini millie.

Have you looked at the Sage3? The Bolt Action lock is quite similar in appearance and operation to the CBBL, the shapes are similar and the Sage is quite a bit smaller. Just a suggestion.

I have a personal issue with the Sage 3, if it weren't for that it wouldve been my first thought for her.

Yes sir one of the few members I've discussed it with. Doesn't seem right to give my current lady something my last one gave me.

Lol, variety is the spice of life... ;)
 
I would be interested in a mini manix 2. Say something in the 2 3/4" range. Black DLC would be the cherry on top.
