Really? I was actually on the site when that one went up, could have bought it. I seriously considered it but decided I didn't know enough to spend that kind of dough. I also felt that about the $7,000 damascus Moran... :foot:last week...that Chris Reeve Opinel looking thing that I have been trying to get for over 8 years.![]()
In the last 2 years, I have bought 3 JWS tacticals at sub-$400 prices, most at $300 to $350. They are among the most undervalued tacticals on the second hand market. This one is definitely worth over $450 objectively speaking. The problem is that I cannot guarantee that they'll ever go back up. I wouldn't take the risk on this one at this price personally. What do you think of the John W. Smith, Joss? He is not making that model any more, and $450 is a very fair deal.

'fraid I'm guilty on that Fogg piece. Actually had to think about it for a couple minutes as it's not the best time for me to be making the outlay, but since I don't have any damascus Fogg pieces in my collection I grabbed it.
Time to think about selling a couple of knives.
