Here are a couple of pics of my JYD 2.2. I made some G10 scales, ground down the pocket clip and added a finger choil. I can't believe the ugly pocket clip kept me from getting one of these full now...I really like this knife!

Very nice.
Me likey!
What technique are you using to pattern & cut the scales?
I usually stack my original scales on top of the material for the new ones, bound to each other with double sided tape and cut with a pattern bit on a router. But, the margin for error is very small and one mistake can ruin both pieces of material, so I'm looking for other methods.

Thanks! I just put the original scale on the slab and trace it with an ultra fine Sharpie. I start with a cut-off wheel on a Dremel. Then I sand with a belt sander and Dremel on a Dremel router table. As far as the patterns, I use the Dremel and sanding drums on a drill press.
My work is nowhere near perfect, but it gets better the more I do.

Thanks for the reply.
I have that equipment available.... I'll have to give it a try.
Follow up here with your progress.
Good luck.
