Because I've read the threads and posts questioning why anyone would change or modify their CRK, I'm going to give a little preface. This is a modification that I made after carrying a Sebenza daily for a couple of years. I spent some time contemplating the change, knowing there'd be no going back. Though I keep box/papers, I don't buy knives with any thought of future value in mind...but I won't be doing this to my Shipwreck Sebenza :)

I don't plan on trying to sell or warranty these, but if I did, the mod would be fully disclosed.

I found the hard corner/edge on the handle, right at the back spacer to be uncomfortable in my hand. So, after much deliberation, I got out the micro files and went to work.

You can see that I've already rounded the one in the background.

And here's a closer shot once finished.

The change is slight, but the mildly annoying discomfort is entirely gone now. Maybe I'm the only fool on the planet who would even consider this, but if you too have ever wondered how the Sebenza would feel without that little detail, I can tell you I really like it.

Good on you! You've adapted a great knife to be more serviceable for your particular needs and have made it more comfortable - for you.
Which means you will be more likely to use and enjoy it instead of letting it sit in a drawer because it doesn't feel right.
To me, it's the same as bending the clip on a 25 to make it more comfortable for the user.
Way to go!
